We tried the inverter on our camping trip and it worked great. It’s easy to use and the size makes it nice to store with no problem. We would definitely recommend this inverter

This Renogy 1000W 12Volt Pure Sine Inverter is very handy for off grid use. We are using g it for extra power in our recreational vechicle. We tried using a freezer for our Alaskan fish catch. The on board inverter was too small. We brought another 12 volt battery and hooked it to the inverter. It was quiet and runs the freezer fine and is very quite.

This is a nice unit, well-packaged, not cheaply-made, but has one disappointing fault. It is labeled “120 volts” but is a 110 volt unit, when producing 500 watts. I much prefer that inverters and power stations produce a true 120 volts. 110 to me was the standard until the mid-1930s, and today would be considered brownout conditions if the local power company supplied it.

I live off grid, and depend on my equipment full time. This inverter has proved its self very capable in the two years I’ve been using it in my camper van, providing constant, clean, quiet, efficient power. Handling loads greater then I even expected, compressor surges, space heater, shop vac, this little inverter packs a lot of power. The fan quietly blows only when necessary. It hardly consumes any power. This is the perfect inverter for daily use as it reliably sits there working.

I bought for my Travel Trailer. Very good quality. My only complaint is that it would not run my 900 watt microwave. It could of been the microwave or the Invertor. So my Wife called Customer support and they returned it at no cost and We ordered a 3000 Renology Invertor. Thank you for your help.

I didn’t really know what this could do until we tailgate it to our last football game. We were able to hook up our television streaming devices, etc. with such is I couldn’t have .I didn’t really know what this could do until we tailgate it to our last football game. We were able to hook up our television streaming devices, etc. with such ease I couldn’t of done on my own, but my husband is definitely more technically able than I. This was a wonderful investment for our future endeavors.

I bought this Renogy inverter to install in my travel trailer. I had a cheaper brand initially and switch to renogy because of quality issues with the cheap one. With the Renogy there are no quality issues – it works as advertised – however I do have one complaint – the fans. It is low profile and has two small fans. These fans aren’t super noisy, but they make an unpleasant grating sound, and the fans operate even when drawing as little as 60 watts – out of 1000watts !!! – Why? The fans turn on for 2 seconds and then turn off for 2 seconds – over and over again. It makes no sense to operate the fans this way but many inverters do this.

I Installed this into a cargo trailer conversion setup with a Renogy 200ah Li-ion battery and 175w Solar panels plus other Renogy components for a couple heading overseas overlanding around europe. There so happy to run this very small and powerful and “Quite” inverter for there small ac needs!!!! Happy Campers!!!!

The installation (clearly described in 2 page instructions) couldn’t have been easier.
1) Connect the battery to the – black and + red terminals.
2) Attach a grounding wire (recommended)
3) Plug in your electronics and turn on

Solid little inverter. It is meant for solar but was used in an automobile for 12 volt and was very impressed. Came nicely packaged has good wire terminals overall high quality.
