High quality product that gives you a high level of security and confidence. Works great!!

Really simple to use and very durable! Been through some rain and heat and hasn’t rusted and lock still works great! Really glad I purchased it!

Had this lock on my hitch for 3-4 months. The first time I went to unlock to switch ball size it wouldn’t open! Had to grind the thing off! PIECE OF CRAP!

I have not used this yet other than to check function and fit on my SUV. Everything looks good and it appears to be of high quality.

I bought this for my new GMC PICK UP. My truck is Black and this unit is black plated. Looks good

This locking hitch pin was used to secure a rather expensive hitch to my Toyota Tundra 2×2 mount. One night this week a thief used some tool to easily break off the locking piece, and within 30 seconds drove off with my hitch. This is total junk from a security point of view, with little ball bearings holding the two pieces together! Avoid at all costs if you value your hitch or what you’re trailering. In my case, nothing was attached to the hitch. Lesson learned!! (I have Nest video of the crime in progress and have made police report, btw, for those interested.)

great lock, love the sleeve to keep pin from chaffing

With the name on the product being “Reese” and sold by “” would expect somewhat of a quality product. From day one had trouble getting the lock to release for pin removal. After removing about a half dozen times over 8 months, could not get lock to release today. Lift in the Arizona desert, so pin was not exposed to road salt. Had to cut pin to remove my hitch.

This is a great product. I really like the sleek design and locking button. The material appears to be tough and well thought out.

Won’t work on my ‘18 Tundra. The shaft isn’t long enough to get the lock onto the end.

Bought this lock to secure my trailer hitch cargo carrier. Worked great on my recent vacation.

The lock mechanism could be easier but other than that it is a good product

Seems solid. I’ve only had It for about a month now and I’m only using it to lock a nice metal hitch cover in place so it works fine for what I need it for. We’ll see how it holds up over time.

Works well to secure trailer ball hitch. Nice heavy duty.

Went ti unlock after about 8 months. Key rotated lock was frozen. Gently pryed with bar lock came off. Will not lock. The teo small ball bearing are rusted frizen. Soaked in penetrator, no go. Bad design.

Well built, sleeved to prevent chaffing on the pin.

Like the item, but the cap does not stay on tightly, and that is important to keep corrosion out.

I like it because it can be used on either a 1/2″ or 5/8″ tow hitch.

Dozens of people are reporting that they are unable to remove this hitch lock after 1-2 years of use. I can get mine off. But I found this video on YouTube which describes the problem.

Just purchased two of these locks and left the keys on my tailgate after i installed. Dummy me. However the directions said to write down the key number which i did for a replacement key only to find out that the lock was to old and they could not get me a new key???? Wow this company which is not “Reese” by the way is a joke. spent over 50 bucks on these locks and had to cut off. Which is a different story also, Cut through these in about 1 minute with my cordless grinder so not really great but a good deterant just dont ever lose your keys.
Disapointing customer service and an oh well attitude has lost my business forever.

The idea of a round key verses a regular key for the security of it enticed me into buying this item. After using the lock and key I found it was difficult to unlock the lock. I have a regular pin with a regular lock and it is much easier to unlock. I was not a satisfied customer, but as always, came through and refunded my purchase.

As soon as I put this lock on, I could not get it to release. The locking mechanism is deffective. I left the lock on after multiple attempts of trying to unlock it figuruing it was secured. We towed our 27 ft travel over 500 miles only to find the lock had fallen off during the trip. Thankfully the weight of the trialer and torsion bars kept the pin in place. I have owned many hitches and locks and never experinenced such a poor design. Absolute junk.

Used once. Locking end came off (from a fully locked condition while towing an empty trailer no less) and had to punch out the two “BBs” on the lock end with a hammer and screwdriver to get home. I definitely do not recommend.
