Great selection of sizes includes metric and standard. I really needed some deep metric sockets this has them. I also needed a set that would last a long time. Craftsman has always been a good choice for me. I thought this was a good price for the size and the fact that it was a good brand

Craftsman puts out a really good product & this tool kit with 105 pieces will be a great addition for any mechanic. There are two drive rachets—3/8” and 1/4”. A ¼” magnetic bit handle has a holder with 3 Phillips head, 3 flat heads & 3 torque head bits, & 1 square head bit. Also, included are 9 metric quarter inch sockets, 10 standard ¼ inch sockets, & a ¼ inch as well as a 3/8 inch extension to attach to the end of the rachet. There are fourteen 3/8 inch drive metric sockets & eleven 3/8 inch drive standard sockets, seven 3/8 inch drive long standard sockets & seven 3/8 inch drive long metric sockets. There are also five ¼ inch drive long standard sockets & seven ¼ inch long metric sockets. There’s a 3/8 inch drive swivel extension to attach to the rachet then add the proper sized socket for maneuverability. There are two sets of hex head wrenches—one is metric, the other is standard. There are also a 5/8 inch & a 13/16 inch spark plug sockets. This kit is a good basic one for the person just starting out in mechanics as well as the old pro who might want to update what’s already on hand.

I take my 105 pc craftsmen tool set everywhere with me in my truck it has all I need to get any mechanical problem taken care of. A great addition to anyone’s tool sets

This tool set is awesome value. I wanted 60- or 72-tooth ratchets for when I need tighter swing arc. Anything above 72-tooth is excessive in my opinion. You get 72-tooth ratchets. I generally use 1/4” drive ratchet when job calls for socket size of either 3/8” and under or 9mm and under. I generally use 3/8” drive ratchet when job calls for socket size of either 7/16”-3/4” or 10mm-19mm. Following pairs of socket sizes are basically interchangeable: 4mm and 5/32”, 5.5mm and 7/32”, 8mm and 5/16”, 12mm and 15/32”, as well as 19 mm and 3/4”. In my opinion, set includes all shallow sockets you might need, except for 1/4” drive 4.5mm. 1/4” drive deep sockets are missing 4mm, 4.5mm, 5mm, 5.5mm, 3/16”, 9/32”, and 11/32” to complete set in my opinion. 3/8” drive deep sockets are missing 10mm and 11mm to complete set in my opinion. Multi bit screwdriver comes with Phillips #1, Phillips #2, Phillips #3, slotted 1/8”, slotted 3/16”, slotted 1/4”, Torx 10, Torx 15, Torx 20, and Robertson (square) #1. Bits are made from harder S2 steel, rather than softer chrome vanadium steel.

I am replacing an old, smaller Craftsman socket set, and didn’t need the extra tools found in other sets. I have used it a few times and so far the quality is at least as good as my old set. I like that everything is held in place tightly, because when they fall out easily they tend to get lost.

I only buy Craftsman tools now, I pick Craftsman over Snap-on and Mac tools now cause of the quality and the lifetime warranty which they stand behind and service personnel are great at getting a broken tool right away instead of having to wait a long time period like with Snap-on or Mac tools and when it’s your job as a mechanic you need your tools right away not waiting up to weeks sometimes, I’m a Craftsman tool buyer for life now and I don’t have to worry if I have a job and something breaks I know I can get it exchanged quickly.
