This is a basic 3/8 set of Mechanic’s SAE sockets. The Sockets themselves see solid, To me they feel a little bit thicker in diameter then USA old Craftsman. I enjoy the larger identifications on the sockets as well much easier to read when going in to find your socket.
The ratchet is rounded on the handle instead of the normal dual flattened style craftsman ratchet The head is traditional style with and easy push off socket release. The ratchet mechanism rotates and switches from on/off easily. The handle is seems larger in diameter compared to older models.
Blow mold box is nice however i will but putting the sockets on rail to save room on my tool set. I do not think if you owned multiple set they would snap together like a versa stack system. But they are nice none the less.

It is a Craftsman ratchet with several sockets included. It was on sale and the tools have a life time warranty, how could I or anyone go wrong with them. I already own some craftsman’s tools and I fully expect them all to last a life time. I am glad is selling them.

Excellent Craftsman quality with smooth rachet motion. Rachet feels strong and turns without slipping. The included socket are of high and heavy quality. For the price definitely worth it!

I bought this for the ratchet, which is 25 bucks by itself, and it is worth it, yet the sockets and the ratchets don’t snap into the case, which makes them prone to falling out.

Very heavy and solidly constructed ratchet with a standard set of sockets. Fits well in a larger toolbox or in a vehicle for travel. Great value for the $10.00 Christmas price tag.

Nice case, good Craftsman ratchet and sockets. One-star deduction because of the smaller case relative to an older design I have. It had a small cut-out in the case to hold other sockets, extensions, or nuts/bolts.

I grew up on Craftsman, now I know it’s not the same as it used to be, but this ratchet performs well and is smooth. The sockets are well labeled and easy to read. I bought this on sale for my young son who helps me on cars.

I needed a new 3/8” ratchet to upgrade from my vintage craftsman. Best and cheapest way was to buy this set during the holidays as the price for this set was the same price if I was to buy the ratchet separately. This ratchet is a 90 tooth count compared to the older 36 teeth. It’s a night and day difference while using the 90 tooth ratchet. I would recommend a set to keep in your car.

I used it the same day I bought it to take apart and fix an electric dryer. The Polished Chrome coating on the tools makes them stand out from other tools. Looks really nice and worked like Craftman tools are expected to work.

nice little set. good fit and finish. well made. nice strong case. much better than the clear ones that crack . the only reason its not 5 stars is there isn’t a littte extension piece. i rather have seperate sets for sae, metric, deep sockets to keep them light.

I got this because I recently moved and needed an easier set to use than the big set I have. This has what I need if I only have a small job and only need a set I can just grab and go. This one works great for that.

The ratchet alone is well worth the price of the entire set. The only negative I see is that the molded case has no “pocket” or other empty cavity where some other additional tool might be stored (like a 3 inch extension). Still for $10 ($9 with the mil discount) this is a very nice set!!
