Worked for one day, the second day I took the rotating lock head off and realized it would no longer engage anymore on the main locking bracket just after one use. I also had a hard time just getting the key back into the rotating lock head as it didn’t want to accept any of the 3 keys provided. Locking device seems very poorly designed with cheap materials. Sad as I was hoping the American made product would exceed any expectations but it didn’t.

This lock will not fit my trailer tongue. It is too short. carries nothing bigger in the stores. Returning to the store.

I have three trailers, and I have used this lock on all three. It’s easy to put on and remove, and I have had no issues with the lock itself.
The ONLY reason for the four stars is the lock needs to be put on a specific way, and if it isn’t, it can pulled off easily.
Aside from that, it works well. Well enough that I am going to get another one as soon as I done writing this review!

Bought this for boat trailer. Once I finally got it to lock in after 10 minutes of battling with it. The locking mechanism would not seat all the way. So after finally getting it back out the side of the ball cracked off. I’m sure you could snap this thing in half with your hands if you wanted to. Do NOT buy, spend the little extra for a good quality one.

Purchased for use on 3 different style hitches and 2 ball sizes. Product works well with all 3. I put a piece of tape over the lock to keep dust out and it seems to be doing the trick.

We have 2 of these trailer locks. One one of them, within the first year of owning it, the black retaining piece started sliding off. That is the part that holds the lock and the key inserted into to unlock it. Basically it would unlock itself without the key, and you could slide the piece off the shaft with your hand. Which means it was then useless.
This has happened to one of our 2 units, so the second one still works. Based on that I would never buy this brand again. We’ve been looking for warranty info but can’t find any.

Junk! Have used 4 times and now won’t lock, having the same issue everyone else is reporting the main lock will no longer engage. Key just free spins inside the cylinder. Retuning, Why does sell something with so many bad reviews is beyond me.

Used this all winter, worked just fine upon first use. Just unlocked it to hook up my rig, all good. But now it won’t lock again. There is a spring that keeps the locking mechanism in the open position, unable to get it to lock.

The “u bolt” part doesn’t slide through the receiver vary easily and it didnt fit on my trailer cause every wich way i tried the top latch of trailer was in the way for the lock to be able to go on

This is not universal. It might fit most hitches, but it was not wide enough for the 2-5/16″ on my camper.
