I have used Craftsman tools for years, most of them hand tools. My old battery charger was on the way out, and I needed to charge my tractor battery for the season. The tool department manager happened to be helping me out, and suggested that this might be a good choice.
I bought it, and threw my 12v battery on it. It showed that my battery had 36 percent on it, and I let it go for another hour. When I checked, it had got to 39 percent and showed a “bad battery” light. At this point I figured I’d be driving to buy a new battery, but I remembered there was something in this charger that might “fix” a battery. I rehooked it up, and the charge showed as 1 percent, starting from scratch. After an hour or so I came back and it showed 100 percent!
I put it in my tractor and it cranked it over and started immediately! Thanks to the charger I saved almost a hundred bucks and a 60 mile drive! We’ll see how it holds up over time, but I’m very pleased.

Our battery was completely dead not sure if it would take a charge. It did work fine, it kept shutting off and I had to turn it back on, not sure why it did that but after a few hours our battery was fully charged.

Live in Omaha Nebraska and just went through a -12 weekend. With my Chevy Equinox parked outside the whole weekend it was no suprise my battery was dead on Monday morning.
