I used my craftsman toolbox on different projects that really came in handy, the tool box it came in is very well made and locks, has sockets, screwdrivers, allen wrenches, different attachments for the screwdriver head, they’re not easy to break, well made products, and it doesn’t take up much space in a vehicle.

The case overall is very sturdy. The set up is very convenient and makes organization easy. There is room for other small items if desired as well. The drawers are easy to open and stay shut when wanted. The tools and accessories featured are very well made and can handle many jobs.

I was amazed at the quality of this set. It is easy to remove the trays it also has additional pockets for screws or what ever else you.Sturdy practical set. Love the drawer layout and ability to pull out.
This a great addition for any job you have to do. Can’t go wrong with Craftsman tools. Quality and knowing Craftsman back up there tool with a free replacement should any of them break. Any job requiring a socket and this kit has it. The price that I got this for was unbelievable. And the way you can remove these drawers will prevent any socket from being lost. Recommend this to all.

Four stars only because the 3/8 ratchet was missing.
Had to return it for exchange making sure I opened it on the check out counter to make sure nothing was missing.

This is another quality set from Craftsman as you would expect. The tools are solid and separated nicely. Each row contains everything related to its size (e.g. 1/4” drive). The case is well made but has a cheaper look. There is a lock in the top left corner to secure the drawers during transportation. Each drawer can be removed. There are more tools farther back. The drawer stops short. Press the tabs at the back of each side to remove the drawer and access the rest of your tools. Each ratchet has a 72-tooth design allowing incremental steps when tightening. Overall, this is a great set.

Craftsmans mechanic tool set come in a Versastack style box that connects to other Versastack storage boxes also connects to dewalts tstak system boxes. That is the main reason why I bought this particular set.

Felt this was a great price for a complete set. Probably more than I will use in the next twenty years but I don’t have to worry about not having the right set. Allows me to get rid of a bushel of odd, assorted, and ancient tools lacking a little bit of utility because of their small size or flimsiness. The bazillion different ratchet combinations will be especially helpful.

look…..if you’re here to compare to SnapOn or heavy duty impact sets, that doesn’t make much sense with this set. If you’re doing heavy machine work on tractors , this may not make sense either. Simple auto-mechanic work, though, it is great. I’ll start with my minor complaints. I had to stop thinking of the drawers as “drawers”….I’ll explain. They’re more like pull out shelves. This is because they don’t pull out all the way. It’s plastic and not on high-end drawer rails, so you’re not getting a lot of ability to manage weight when pulled out. To get to the back of each tray, you have to pull the tray all the way out. Before you buy this, make sure you’re OK with them being slide out trays and not drawers (unless you only want stuff in the front). I used this set yesterday to change brakes and had no issues laying the drawers out. Next, I wish it had socket adapters so I could alternate sizes. The socket I needed went with the quarter inch ratchet. I had a battery-operated ratchet I like to use, and it needed an adapter. Would have been nice to have that all in one set. (Side note; some have complained about unused space…..I like it because now I added my own adapters to it. There is extra space for things you may want to add. While the casing is all plastic, it’s pretty thick stuff. I usually cringe at the word plastic, but this is pretty solid stuff. It carried around easily. The sockets seem secure. I wouldn’t dump it upside down but I don’t think they’re moving. I had it shipped and we know there’s no way FedSux wasn’t throwing this box around. I only bought this when the price dropped $90 getting it to under $150. I would likely still pay full price. The ratchets are smooth and very thing. Everything is sturdy. I was able to crank off some lug nuts. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this again and wouldn’t pause buying this for a friend for a gift.

It is a great starter mechanic tool set. It’s a great tool box. It’s easy to find what you need. The tool box has extra room where additional tools can be added. In addition it has the Craftsmans warranty if you break the tool it’s replaced at no cost. Also purchased the tools over Labor Day sale and had a great price on tools. It was a $70 discount. Easy to carry tools around the farm to work on equipment.

Very good quality. I love that the case is stackable and the handle is easy to carry. It is very durable. The tools lock into place so you do not have to worry about a huge mess of tools when you open a drawer. The drawers are easy to slide in and out. I have piece of mind when I set this in the back of the truck that after all the sliding around it will still be all in one place when I take it out at the job site.

I LOVE the fact you can lock the trays so they do not open while you are transporting the case. Plus the fact that the sockets stay locked in place. What I don’t like is that there is no room to add any extra tools like more sockets, wrenches or even a screwdriver or two. You know just some basic tools. Have to carry another case for them.

I really like that I can carry the tool case with one hand and it has a lock on the case which is great to open and close the drawers. The tool quality is absolutely outstanding and everything is made very durable and long lasting. I really appreciate that everything inside the tool case is labeled so you know what each tool is. The versastack mechanic tool set is an excellent tool set to start or add to your tool collection. Its got so much of what you need for working on your vehicles, from little jobs to big jobs. Its very well made with quality materials. The tools and the tool storage is heavy duty and will last forever. It also looks really nice on our shop with our other Craftsman tools. Its so nice to have a specified storage place for your tools to stay in.

This versastack tool set is great! It comes with everything you need. It includes 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 drive. The ratchets are so smooth turning and have no resistance or catching. The sockets come in so many sizes and have great grip. The wrenches are high quality and feel really durable. Also the bits are nice. There are so many to choose from. The case is great. You can pull the drawers out partially or you can tape them out completely and they fit just perfect on the top of the case. It has the clips so you can attach other versastack kits together. I love how this includes everything you could need and it is all in one kit and easy to keep organized. I highly recommend this tool kit.

I had been looking at a craftsman set like this for a while. just looking for a kit with all in one to make the garage a bit more organized. I have plenty of tools but having this set in the toolbox makes things much easier. it is very well organized. I may take off .25 stars for the flimsy pull out drawers, but benefit of the low price. I got this for under $150 which males the value incredible. the drawers are solid but they just slide out on small shims. the tools themselves have held up well. some solid torque on them…..not heavy machinery but can work a stuck lug nut. plenty of value in this kit and well organized.

Tools are very durable. The way the toolbox is designed makes it very easy to find the right tool as well as take it. it’s not like other tool sets that are hard to get a socket out. would recommend.

This is my first Versastack product and it has a lot of features for just being a tool set. First, it is portable. It is larger than some other sets I’ve used, but it is still portable. Since it has the handle on the top and the tools stay flat, everything stays in place without needing to be locked in. My other tool set fits so tight that sometimes I have to use a screwdriver to pry what I need out. With the Craftsman set, everything is labelled and has a spot, but I can just slide them on and off their posts. I like that this has a lock so the drawers can’t accidently come open (just a turn knob, not like a lock that needs a key). Since this is a Versastack set, I like that obviously other sets can be stacked together. They fit right on top of each other and there are tabs to lock them into place. The top can also be used to sit a full drawer on top without it sliding around. This allows full access to 2 drawers of tools at a time. They are easy to slide in and out with plastic tabs that you just push down. Some of the tools can’t be accessed unless you fully remove a drawer. Each drawer is labelled for each drive set, 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″. They also include both SAE and metric sets. There are also hex keys of various sizes, a screwdriver with lots of different sized and shaped bits to attach for so many different needs. I didn’t know about low-profile tools before, but now I need them. They are so handy to get into tight spaces. It really saves my knuckles. So overall, I really like this set and it is getting a lot of use already.

This was the coolest tool box I have ever seen! I love that it has so many pieces and so many different sizes to choose from all in one! I also love that it came in a tool box as well that looked nice!
