Throughout the years I’ve rented / borrowed numerous tools from places such as AutoZone. While this tool set may never get much real life use it creates a great peace of mind that its one less thing that I have to scrounge for in the one-off event that I need it. The overall construction and the feel of the components feel of decent to high level quality. I think Craftsman is well on the way to regaining some of that nostalgic appeal that we can all admit that we miss.

This brake kit, contains about 97% of everything needed to complete brake jobs. Everything else,
( tools ) I need to do for brake jobs would be a one off tool for repair. I am a freshman in, Automotive Science Repair, at Maui University College. I took 4 years of Automotive, while in high school, also being a Teacher Assistant in my last year. “ How times have changed “ my Father says. He spent 37 years as a head technician mechanic. He’s impressed with the amount of the computer technology that is a part of the vehicles nowadays. He completely agrees, that a Science Degree in computers along with hands-on training is a necessary tool, for today’s advanced cars.
I believe, He almost owns every Snap On, Matco, Mac, and OTC tool available. He actually steered me towards , to get started with. I went to my local Lowe’s, here in Maui, Hi. and I was really impressed with Lowe’s Automotive selection of tools, ( but, also doing a thorough search on Lowe’s.com ) and the Bonus being, “ No hassle, lifetime guarantee “ !!
With my $1300 plus, on tools being purchased that day, just for my first semesters in college, I believe a long with “ “ ( my Father), I am well on my way to a successful career. Now granted, my father did tell me that on some of the “ specialty tools “ I could borrow from him, for that occasional usage while in college. Some may wonder, “ Can’t believe your father won’t let you use his tools “ ? My father has always helped me, with any need, I’ve ever asked for. But, He is a firm believer that something earned in life, has a little more meaning ( maybe Pride, With a pinch of humbleness ) to one’s self. But either way, along with
“ , tools “ I am on my way to a two-year degree,
at 18 credits a year, ( Bachelor ) in Science Computer Automotive.
Thank you ( Dad ), !!
