If you only take a moment to put one of these over a nice finish, you can save a potentially ruined day with a scratch or belt buckle impression on a fender that can be avoided. If you are spending Any length of time working under the hood of your car — there is no reason in the world not to have a couple of these. Ever tried to fix a paint scratch that you see all the time. So frustrating!! These are such an inexpensive deterrent to those problems. Also great to use for padding when carrying sharp cornered objects in the back of your suv.

Purchased on sale for a great price but unfortunately, that was the only good thing about these fender mats. The backing is a hard rubber that I did not trust on nice paint and the size is far too small for the big fenders of my Satellite and GTO. Returned and now looking for a larger fender mat with softer backing. This mat would be fine for small fenders where possible abrasion will not be a concern.

I have a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 that is like brand new, and I want to keep it that way when I do something under the hood. Also have a 2017 Honda Accord Touring car, I can do very little to it, but when I do I want it protected. I have a 3rd use, I like to shoot, the cover makes a great place for clean a weapon and you can wipe it clean. It provides a great area of service.
