Great for charging lawn tractor/ zero turn batteries, especially during/ after winter. Plug and play. Very easy and happy.

Battery was completely dead, 2 years old, it took 17 hours, but once it went green that Battery was ready.

Nice little Automobiles charger…Takes 8hrs to charge up a 12 volt battery.

This is a very cost effective multi-volt Car Battery Charger. I used it to fully recharge a depleted car battery that was otherwise in excellent condition as it was new before the discharge occurred due to a faulty alternator in the vehicle.

This battery charger worked perfectly and was so easy to use. I keep in in my trunk so if i every need it again. I would recommend this product.

My rider mower would not turn over. My sister highly recommended this charger. It is so easy to operate and once battery was hooked up, my mower was fully charged in less than an hour. Since I am a 77 year old female who still manages to do lawn duties, this purchase is a perfect fit.

Used this on my Husqvarna Riding Lawn Mower as the battery had started to drain. Before I bite the bullet and invest in a new battery I decided to try this. I’ve used this twice so far and it charges the battery up just fine. Definitely a useful bit of kit

This charger did a great job bringing my battery back to life. Very quiet while running, no issues so far.

My car battery — yes, a Subaru — was dead after a week in the airport parking lot. Got a jump to get home and then tried to charge to full with this charger. First usage out of the box. Hooked it up per (weak, terse, vague in many languages) instructions and the unit just didn’t seem to do anything. Retried several times. The only sign of life was that the graphics flashed for mb 1 sec on two of the attempts. Maybe it does this when the battery is fully charged? Maybe I had it hooked up wrong. I can’t tell. This unit is either defective or it lacks enough information in its display. Gonna try to get my money back and upgrade to a model with a more informative display.

This charger works great. It has helped me start a 7.3 Powerstroke and 12 Valve Cummins in cold weather with weak batteries after only about 3 hours charging time. I like it so much I have bought 2. Also FYI it will not work after you run it over on accident with a Jeep.

I bought this because our Subaru Outback battery was dead – totally dead – in the garage, and not accessible for jumper cables. For a dead car battery, this is not a quick charger, but I wasn’t looking for quick. Five hours after I started charging it, the car started up just fine. The money spent for this charger was well spent.

No instructions came with it and you CANNOT even find it on-line!! The model numbers of the manuals on-line do not match mine. do not come close to matching the model number on the unit! What do the colored lights mean? How WOULD you know without a manual!

Dont know how to tell if it completely charged because it keeps blinking green for hours

Needed a battery charger, badly. Unit is small, light weight, easy to use and it charged the battery slowly.

I had a 20-year old charger that worked just fine, but microprocessor technology has advanced, and so have battery chargers. My old one was the “dumb” type – it had stage-wise charging, but you had to know what type battery you had, make the right selection, and the battery would charge at a pre-programmed rate, whether it needed it or not. The Schumacher 8A-rated charger detects the battery type, selects the charge profile, and detects and continuously adjusts the charge rate needed – right down to maintaining battery charge at or near zero amps. This charger is right-sized for occasionally bringing my trailer break-away battery back up to charge in a reasonable time frame, since the battery also serves to power interior 12v lights. I can put it on charge a few nights before a trip, and rest assured that the battery will be properly charged and tended by a full-time evaluative circuit, without shortening the battery life.

I used this for my ham radio batteries which is a scooter SLA battery. Gets it to full charge then maintains until I disconnect. No problems whatsoever. Recently had an electrical problem in my truck that discharges my battery and this charged it up and maintained while in my garage. Excellent product and very easy to use.

Bought a 1363 charger but DID NOT get instructions in ENGLISH. I can’t read Spanish or what ever language instructions are printed in. Please get an ENGLISH version to me asap.

It would not work out of the box. Tried it in 4 outlets between mine and my neighbors house.

i plugged it in and charged my tractor so i could cut my grass . It was easy

Plug it in. It will detect what type battery you have and what charge you need and adjust the charge as the battery reaches full charge so you don’t have to worry about damage from over charging. Not a lot of bells and whistles I didn’t need or want to pay for. It’s idiot proof.

Brand new out-of-the-box used it once and it work carefully put it in my garage for the next use and it wouldn’t work. i’ve tried everything to get it to work but it just won’t. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK ITEM. Schumacher should be embarrassed they make something like this.

I have used this for a couple of years to maintain the battery on a vehicle that is only used a couple of times a month. It keeps the battery charged and I’ve never had any issues with it. Small enough to easily store when not in use.

I have a trolling battery that weighs about 80 pounds and was looking for a small automatic charger capable of running off an A/C inverter (300-600 watt). This charger draws 2.2 amps at 120 volts which is 264 watts, perfect for this small inverter. I tried the setup on my trolling battery and it works perfectly, no overheating or other problems. Now I can use the battery all day and have it charged during the drive home, ready for tomorrow. Nice product, built by a company who has been making chargers for decades.

I’ve had this charger for almost a year on a car that is seldom driven. The battery is always up and does what it’s supposed to since the addition of this charger!

I needed a good charger that my mom could use if I can’t get there to help her. I taught her how to hook it up, plug it in and wait for the LED to turn green. Thats it. Very easy. Definitely recommend.

I replaced an old recharger with this purchase – this was easy to use and the indicator lights made knowing if my battery was charged a no-brainer. Greatly appreciate that it would indicate if I had the cables reversed.

I don’t drive my van much, so I needed something that could charge the battery and maintain it automatically. The first time I used the charger, it aborted overnight. The van is a diesel, so the battery is huge. I disconnected the charger and re-connected it the next day. It finished charging and switched to maintenance. -1 star because there’s nothing on the charger explaining what the four operating modes mean. I added a sticker, so I don’t have to check the manual.

Had a completely dead battery so went to and purchased one of these
Plugged it in and let it do its “magic” !
Just went down and unplugged it even though it was still yellow (this was a very dead battery) and my Troy Bilt riding mower started right up
This charger is super and I highly recommend it !

When I hurriedly purchased this Schumacher charger online with the help of Instacart on 7.24.23, I didn’t realize that it would require the use of an extension cord. Also, I was looking for a truly portable option. Ultimately, I didn’t want to wait the 2 hours or more that is necessary for this one to potentially work. My riding lawnmower battery did not start up after an hour (more than double the time it has taken in the past when using other options). So I returned it to buy a product with more amps.
