I bought this jack so I could lift one end of my bed up to replace the legs. I could *almost* lift the bed myself, so I think the weight was under 200 pounds. This jack was good for me because of low starting height. It worked OK for the first leg then got stuck, in the “up” position, with the second leg. I tried pushing it down by hand and then it started leaking oil from the check valve. I had to use a mechanical jack (rated 1.5 tons) to lift the bed even higher to get this one out.

I buy two of these jacks to lift up my large porch and replace a center column. Just as I’m about to finish, one of the jacks gives out. It dies. Luckily, I have additional columns to support just in case. I’m able to lift one side of the porch and working quickly and cautiously… I replaced the column. If you do not want to experience the fear of having an entire patio collapse on you, do not buy this jack.

PUrchased the Torin T92007A Bottle Jack from one year ago. Used one time then stored till this week to raised a deck. Piston would not raise. No seems seals at handle are no good. No receipt so would not replace, and can’t return to Torin without it. Repair kit $40.00. Not sure I will bother. Don’t buy this!

Pros: 1 star for the fact that i got the product and another star that it came one day before scheduled delivery; which was good.
Cons: The product has rust and dings and nicks on different parts of the product which gave me the impression that this was a returned part. Which is fine and all, but i expect that if I pay full price for a product, I am actually expecting a new products or if not, some kind of communication saying the contrary would be ok too. In addition, the product had no instructions (though this could be solved by reviewing said instructions online, but what if?)

Liked the squat size and lifting capability. Did not like that it locked up just 3/4s of the way of leveling my small shed (empty). Exchanged with no hassle at .
